Flamingo Gardens is for the birds this Labor Day, September 1st with the 5th Annual Native Bird Festival. Experience the birds that make Florida their home with live bird exhibits, birding classes, aviary tours and special live bird presentations. Visit with the Sierra Club, Audubon Society and other wildlife organization booths to learn more about Florida’s wild inhabitants and habitats. Best of all, Labor Day is HALF PRICE ADMISSION! It's LATE NIGHT at Flamingo Gardens!
The FIRST FRIDAY of the month Flamingo Gardens stays open until 8pm for your enjoyment. Enjoy the best food trucks in Fort Lauderdale in the front parking lot from 5-9pm. DJ Mike spins the tunes in the parking lot while the South Florida Bluegrass Asscociation (SFBA) band "Dusty Road Rangers" strums their stuff in the courtyard for free!

Parking and admission to the Food Trucks event and Bluegrass Band concert is FREE. Admission into Flamingo Gardens is ONLY $5 for adults and kids after 4pm*. Last tickets are sold at 7:30pm and the Gardens will close at 8pm.
Food Trucks will remain open and serving until 9pm.
* Members & Children 2 and under free. Tram and Wray Home will be closed. The Aviary will close about 7pm and some animals may not be visible.
October 11-12, 2014 Harvest Fest & Great Scarecrow Competition
9:30am to 4:30pm
Harvest Fest features free hayrides from 10 am - 4pm, Punkin' Patch, free bounce house, a Fall market, scavenger hunt and Fall crafts and activities for the whole family. Scarecrows will take over the botanical gardens with the 5th annual scarecrow competition. Enter your own imaginative interpretation of the classic scarecrow or vote for your favorite to win the "People's Choice" award. Judging takes place at noon and winners will be announced at 2pm. Admission to Harvest Festival is half price for the day!

Bad things happen at the carnival!
This annual special outdoor benefit for Flamingo Gardens is sponsored by Spirit Halloween stores and features live actors and animatronic props staged throughout the Garden's West Arboretum with two Haunted houses. The faint of heart and young children should be wary as it is sure to scare!
Haunted Nights is an outdoor night time event held from 7-9pm to raise funds to benefit the botanical gardens and wildlife sanctuary. General admission is $8 per person.
No member passes, discounts or coupons. This night time event is not recommended for children under 10. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
