At Flamingo Gardens, we hold a strong conviction that everyone, regardless of their financial circumstances, should have the opportunity to experience the wonders of our sanctuary.

Museums for All

Year round $3 Admission per Person for up to Four (4) People per EBT or WIC Card.

Museums for All is a program that provides low-cost admission to families who are a part of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). This signature access program of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), administered by the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM), encourages people of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum-going habits.

To receive Museums for All pricing, please present a valid photo ID and EBT card, onsite, in our giftshop. Qualified individuals receive a $3 admission fee per person for up to four people per EBT or WIC card. Adults and children are both eligible. Children under 2 receive free admission This admission rate is available during all normal operating hours, daily from 9:30am – 4:00pm, not valid on special ticketed events or nighttime events admission.

The COVID-19 public health emergency (PHE) declaration expired on May 11, 2023. Therefore, children under 6 in households participating in SNAP will not be eligible for summer 2023 P-EBT benefits. However, school children who attended a school participating in the National School Lunch Program at the end of school year 2022-23 are still eligible for summer 2023 P-EBT benefits in participating states.

Community Access Days

The goal of the Flamingo Gardens Community Access Program is to provide more accessibility to vulnerable and underserved populations while giving back to the community, and to provide educational and recreational programming to up to 12 organizations serving targeted populations annually.

Please complete the application, found here, and return to [email protected] at least 60 days prior to the desired Access Day event. Applications are considered on a calendar year basis. The earlier in the year your application is submitted the better chance you will have of being accepted. Please provide more than one date if possible. Some dates may not be available. Your application will be evaluated by the Community Access Day Review Committee within 30 days of submission.
