All finalists will be displayed in a juried exhibit that will run in the Flamingo Gardens Gallery from January 14 – February 26, 2023. From those displayed, awards will be presented for the following: Best of Show ($150), First Place ($100), Second Place ($75), Third Place ($50), and up to five (5) Judge’s Recognition Awards ($25 each), at a special Awards Reception scheduled for Friday, January 13, 2023.
The opening weekend of the Flamingos: A Party in Pink photo exhibit will coincide with the return of Flamingo Gardens’ Flamingo Fest Weekend, January 14 & 15. Flamingo Fest will feature flamingo inspired arts & crafts vendors, music, live painting, flamingo talks, and more. The centerpiece of Flamingo Fest is the Fabulous Flamingo Contest, whose theme this year is “Masterpiece!” – a flamboyance of yard flamingos decorated as famous artists, artworks and styles of art created by local community members and displayed throughout the Gardens.
Flamingo Gardens Admission:
- $21.95 for ages 12+,
- $15.95 for ages 3-11,
- Flamingo Gardens members and children 2 or younger are admitted free.
Flamingo Gardens is located at 3750 South Flamingo Road in Davie, FL 33330. Narrated Tram Tour, visits to the Wray Home Museum and Flamingo Gardens’ Gallery exhibits are included in admission price. The exhibit is included with admission to Flamingo Gardens and open to the public 7 days a week 10am – 4:30pm. Last tickets sold at 4:00pm.
