
Inspired by the pop art movement, Sean’s Kenney’s Nature POP®! plays on that movement’s principles by blurring the boundaries between austere and the everyday and draws from a belief that everything is interconnected. Families may stroll through the Gardens, view the Nature POP®! sculptures and murals, and enjoy the unofficial end of summer; featuring live music by local favorites the Shadow Creek Band, larger-than-life boardgames on the Wray Lawn, and holiday weekend food specials at the Flamingo Pond Snack Bar and Grill.
Guests may explore Sean Kenney’s Nature POP®! exhibit throughout the Gardens. This award-winning exhibit features 44 sculptures and murals made from more than 800,000 LEGO® bricks. more sculptures in the Gallery and learn how climate change is making an impact on wildlife around the world.
Nature POP®! Exhibit Closing/Labor Day Weekend Activities:
- Live entertainment by Shadow Creek Band: 11:30am-2:30pm
- Labor Day, Monday September 4, Flag Presentation/Pledge of Allegiance at 11:15am
- Visit the Museum of Discovery & Science (MODS) STEMobile 10am – 3pm.
- Larger-than-life Board Games on the Wray Lawn 10am – 4pm.
- Young At Art activity booth 10am-3pm (Saturday only).
- Girl Scouts may earn earning their GS Love the Outdoors Challenge Patch 10am-4pm
Nature POP®! exhibits, Animal Specialist Talks, Wildlife Encounter presentations, specialty weekend programing, Wray Home Museum, Butterfly Conservatory, and Narrated Tram Tour are included in admission price. Tickets may be purchased online or on-site in the Welcome Center/Gift Shop.
