Reading with Mother Nature Book Fair

Saturday, May 31st & Sunday, June 1st 2025
11am – 4pm

In collaboration with MiliBroHispano.org, Flamingo Gardens presents it’s inaugural, local author, bi-lingual Book Fair on Saturday & Sunday, May 31 & June 1, 2025.  Enjoy a weekend filled with books, creativity and storytelling in nature.  Up to 50 local authors of books for both children and adults are expected to participate with booths, book sales, meet & greets and activities.

  • Live Storytelling Sessions

 

  • Help paint the world’s longest “bobcat”

 

  • Take part in a creative writing workshop

 

  • Help create a “Tree of Dreams” collective artwork

 

  • Participate in Family Yoga

Visitors can also enjoy the local historic photo retrospective by Stan Wood, on display daily from 9:30am – 4:30pm, in the Gardens Gallery from May 24 – June 29, 2025.

Admission to the Gardens, Including Exhibit:

  • $24.00 for ages 12+,
  • $17.00 for ages 3-11,
  • Flamingo Gardens members and children 2 or younger are admitted free.
  • Flamingo Garden’s is open 7 days a week.  Last admission at 4pm.

Flamingo Gardens is located at 3750 South Flamingo Road in Davie, FL 33330. Narrated tram tour, Wray Home Museum, Butterfly Conservatory, Wildlife Encounter Presentations, and Gallery exhibits are included in admission.
