Tribal Culture Day/Everglades Conservation Weekend

Flamingo Gardens is hosting its inaugural Seminole Tribal Culture Day on Saturday, January 11, as part of an Everglades Conservation Weekend, Saturday & Sunday, January 11 & 12, 2025.

On Saturday, enjoy Tribal Crafts, Entertainment, Foods, seeing an Airboat, & Children’s Activities as you learn about our area’s past and the history of the land. Both days, visit and take photos with local reptiles, hear Wildlife Caretaker Talks and see Wildlife Encounter Presentations. The weekend will conclude on Sunday, with groups and organizations who promote Everglades preservation and conservation. Learn the value and importance of saving our “River of Grass.”
While visiting Flamingo Gardens, guests may view the limited engagement exhibit, “A Disappearing Landscape: Art of the Highwaymen,” showcasing the evocative works of the renowned Florida Highwaymen artists. The exhibit will be open to the public from January 4 through February 23, 2025, and is included with general admission to Flamingo Gardens.

Flamingo Gardens Admission:
• $24 for ages 12+,
• $17 for ages 3-11,
• Flamingo Gardens members and children 2 or younger are admitted free.

Flamingo Gardens is a 60-acre botanical garden and Everglades Wildlife Sanctuary located at 3750 South Flamingo Road in Davie, FL 33330. The Narrated Tram Tour, Wray Home Museum, Wildlife Encounter Presentations, Animal Caretaker Talks, Butterfly Conservatory, Arboretum and Gallery Exhibits are included in admission. Specialty weekend programs and entertainment may be subject to change. Please check website for details prior to your visit.
