Exhibit

Florida Citrus Labels

July 1 - December 31, 2026
10:00 AM - 4:30 PM

From July 1 to December 31, 2026, the Wray Home Museum at Flamingo Gardens is hosting the Museum of Florida History’s traveling exhibition, Florida Citrus Labels. This exhibit is a collection of twenty-four citrus packing-crate labels that represent the thousands used in Florida between the late 1800s and the 1960s. The distinctive artwork that identified Florida citrus crates helped to create and sustain a favorable image of Florida. Here, viewers will find a panorama of citrus labels associating Florida with various aspects of health, wealth, or beauty from a bygone era.
