Our Volunteer of the Month for October is Joseph Lily. Joe, as he is affectionately called, has been a fantastic addition to our volunteer team. He’s already amassed over 275 hours and has been getting rave reviews. He can most commonly be seen as part of our Wildlife Encounter.

His energetic personality has left guests feeling positive. He has presented that “wow” factor that we look for in our volunteers and has reflected the essence of Flamingo Gardens well. Our staff love working with him and the guests love him even more. We couldn’t be prouder to call him a Flamingo Gardens volunteer and we’re incredibly enthused about his future here. Thank you, Joe. We really appreciate you!

Our Volunteer of the Month for August is Bendaly Muzeau. Bendaly has been volunteering with us all summer and has been exceptional. His attitude has always been positive. He is very receptive and has been extremely helpful particularly with our exhibit in the gallery. Bendaly has also often assisted at the Tram where he has kept up our standard of cleanliness and engaged with our guests before they have gone on the tour. Every time we have called upon Bendaly, he has been available and we couldn’t be more thankful for the time he has given us.
