Your Gift Helps Provide the “Bear” Necessities
Two orphaned American black bear cubs have found a new beginning at Flamingo Gardens. Bentley and Treena were just two months old when they lost their mother, leaving them unable to survive in the wild. After being bottle-fed and cared for by wildlife professionals, these young cubs will have a safe, permanent home at Flamingo Gardens where they can continue to grow, explore, and thrive.
Beginning June 6, guests will have the opportunity to visit Bentley and Treena in their new habitat and follow their journey as they settle into their new lives.
Caring for bear cubs requires specialized nutrition, expert veterinary care, enrichment activities, and thoughtfully designed habitat spaces that support their physical and emotional well-being. Your gift today helps provide the compassionate, lifelong care these cubs need and deserve—and every contribution makes a meaningful difference.
Your support can help us reach our goal to raise $10,000 in these first weeks to help cover the immediate costs of welcoming Bentley and Treena, including transportation, medical care, and habitat enhancements. A stretch goal of an additional $10,000 will help provide ongoing enrichment, wellness care, and long-term support to ensure these cubs continue to flourish for years to come.
Your generosity helps turn a heartbreaking beginning into a future filled with safety, care, and hope.
