Take flight with Amazing Butterflies, an interactive, educational traveling exhibit brought to Flamingo Gardens by Minotaur Mazes. Enter the Gallery, shrink down into the undergrowth, and embark on a vibrant, immersive journey through the fascinating life cycle of butterflies, from egg to winged flight!
Explore this hands-on maze experience designed for visitors of all ages that combines play, discovery, and learning:
- Become a Caterpillar: Crawl through larger-than-life leaves and grass tunnels that simulate the challenges a caterpillar faces.
- Interactive Challenges: Encounter tactile elements like spider webs and puzzle stations that teach survival tactics and butterfly behaviors.
- Metamorphosis Experience: Climb into a chrysalis and emerge as a butterfly ready to soar, celebrating one of nature’s most extraordinary transformations.
- Educational Stations: Along the way, complete activity cards to learn about butterfly diets, predators, pollination, mating, and more.
Amazing Butterflies encourages families to learn through active participation and exploration, gaining a deeper appreciation for these remarkable creatures and their role in our ecosystems.
