Special Event

During Back-to-School Weekend guests will enjoy entertainment, school supply giveaways* from Flamingo Gardens and other community partners, plants for purchase, a free craft activity, and larger-than-life family games on the Wray Lawn.

Back-to-School Weekend Activities:

• Larger-than-life Board Games: 10am – 4pm
• Kids’ Corner Craft: 11am – 3pm
• Free back to school items while supplies last (courtesy of Flamingo Gardens and other community partners)
• Plant sales on-site by H&H Bamboo
• Live family entertainment by Gary Kazoo: 11:30am – 2:30pm
• Visit community extracurricular booths from organizations such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Code Ninjas, the Marine Environmental Education Center (MEEC) and Flamingo Gardens’ Eco-teers.
• David Rogers’ Big Bugs: The Pollinators throughout the Gardens
• Amazing Butterflies (indoor maze) in the Gallery

Exhibits in the Gardens and Gallery, specialty weekend programing, Animal Specialist Talks, Wildlife Encounter presentations, Wray Home Museum, Butterfly Conservatory, and Narrated Tram Tour are included in admission price. Tickets may be purchased online or on-site in the Welcome Center/Gift Shop.

Admission:

• $24 for ages 12+
• $17 for ages 3-11
• Flamingo Gardens members, 2026 South Florida Adventure Pass holders, and children 2 or younger are free.
• Gardens’ Hours are 9:30am – 5pm. Last admission sold at 4pm.
